Ordering and terms
Service and seller information
Mofei 3D is the brand of a personally operated printing studio in Helsinki. We print customer-supplied models and offer simple resizing where compatible with our equipment. You receive the seller’s legal name, contact details and applicable registration and tax information in writing before placing an order. Contact: 3d@mofei.studio.
Enquiries and contracts
The website draft tool helps you write an email. Using it does not send a message or create a contract. An enquiry sent by email, or a receipt acknowledging it, does not itself oblige you to pay. We respond within one business day with a quote or follow-up questions. A human-reviewed quote and order terms are confirmed by email before a contract is made.
Price, payment and timing
Model checks and quotes are free, and single-piece orders are welcome. Ordinary, readily available material is included in the quote. Special material or colour procurement costs and extra time are explained before acceptance and payment. Procurement starts only after payment arrives. The quote confirms the total price, applicable tax treatment, shipping and other charges, material, quantity and dimensions. Procurement, production and shipping times are listed separately. Payment is by bank transfer using the details in the approved quote. We procure materials and print after your acceptance and receipt of payment. Any changes are agreed before work continues.
Models and intended use
You must have permission to commission a paid print of the model and tell us its intended use and important dimensions. Material and project suitability are reviewed individually. Printed parts may show layer lines typical of the process; expected finish and significant limitations are explained before ordering. We do not accept food-contact, medical, child-safety or other safety-critical work, including safety-critical load-bearing parts. If permission is unclear or a non-commercial restriction is present, work waits for appropriate permission. Support removal and basic cleanup are included in the quote; sanding and painting are not offered.
Delivery and cancellation
Collection is free and always by appointment in Kalasatama, including at the metro station. The meeting point is confirmed privately. We ship tracked parcels within Finland; the customer pays the shipping charge agreed before payment. The full total including shipping is confirmed before payment. If neither procurement nor production has started, cancellation receives a full refund. After procurement or production begins, we discuss a refund based on progress, deducting only reasonable, unrecoverable costs where applicable law permits. Statutory rights remain unaffected. Applicable withdrawal rights and instructions are provided before the contract. Consumer distance sales ordinarily have a 14-day withdrawal right; an exception may apply to goods made to customer specifications or clearly personalised, but choosing a standard colour or material does not automatically remove that right. Any exception is assessed for the actual order and explained before agreement and work begins. We do not treat every print as automatically non-refundable.
Defects and disputes
We reprint free of charge where a clear defect results from our printing or handling. This promise does not limit statutory rights or other applicable remedies. Issues involving an approved design, dimensions or intended use are discussed individually; this does not exclude responsibility for our own mistakes. First contact 3d@mofei.studio about a problem. Consumers can seek help from Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and refer a dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board.
